DC Reviews Safety Arrangements At Shahdara, Lady Willingdon Hospitals

DC Muhammad Ali Ejaz visited Government Shahdara Teaching Hospital and Lady Willingdon Hospital on Monday and reviewed their safety audit and fire safety arrangements. Accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Municipal Services Abdullah Khan, Assistant Commissioner HR, Ravi Humaira Shah, and Assistant Commissioner City, Rana Amir Liaquat.

During the visits, the DC was briefed on the current safety measures at both hospitals, including the functionality of emergency equipment, exits, and fire safety protocols. He instructed authorities to ensure immediate functionality of all fire safety equipment and regular technical inspections of electrical wiring to prevent any incidents.

"The purpose of this safety audit is to guarantee robust arrangements for accident prevention and human life protection," said Ejaz, emphasizing that safeguarding citizens’ lives and property is the primary duty of the district administration.
