Decision to Launch 'Libraries on Wheels' Project in Lahore

LAHORE (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) — A decision has been made to launch 'Libraries on Wheels' project in Lahore to provide educational facilities to students.
According to official sources, 55 electric vehicles will be handed over to the education Authority under this project. Each electric vehicle will be equipped with 22 tablets and an LED screen, while arrangements for charging the vehicles will be made at schools. Each library vehicle will serve approximately 100 schools.
In the initial phase, all 55 electric vehicles will be stationed at pilot schools, from where they will be used to provide library and digital educational facilities to students.
