Defence Day Ceremony Held in Quetta to Honor Martyrs

A dignified central ceremony was held in Quetta on the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day, attended by Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, and other senior civil and military officials.

At the ceremony, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute at the Martyrs’ Monument. The Governor, Chief Minister, Corps Commander, and other dignitaries laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha for the martyrs.

Speakers paid glowing tributes to the timeless sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs, who gave their lives for the defense, security, and sovereignty of the motherland. The ceremony reflected the nation’s collective resolve to honor the bravery of its heroes and to pass on their legacy of sacrifice and patriotism to future generations.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment that the sacrifices of martyrs will never be forgotten and pledged to continue building a strong, united, and secure Pakistan.
