Defence Day Reminds Nation Of Sacrifices, Unity: Shazia Mari

Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) central spokesperson Shazia Mari has paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the 1965 war, describing Sept 6 as an unforgettable day in the country’s history.
In her message issued on Defence Day, Shazia Mari said the day reminded the nation of the great sacrifices made for the defence of the motherland. She stated that the entire nation saluted the martyrs and veterans of the 1965 war, highlighting the exemplary spirit of unity, resolve, and courage displayed by the armed forces and people on Sept 6.
She emphasized that the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs constitute a glorious chapter in national history and that they will always be remembered with honor and respect.
Shazia Mari affirmed that there can be no compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and defence. She added that the PPP remains committed to safeguarding democracy, the Constitution, and national security.
She further noted that the message of Defence Day is that national unity and solidarity are the foundations of a strong Pakistan. She concluded by stating that advancing the mission of the martyrs and building a robust, prosperous, and developed country is a collective responsibility.
Shazia Mari also expressed her tribute to the martyrs, veterans, and their families, praying for lasting peace, stability, and progress in Pakistan.
