DIG Faisal Pays Surprise Visit To Township Police Station

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran visited the Township police station on Tuesday and conducted an inspection of various sections, including the front desk and lock-up. He reviewed the functioning of the Q-Matic machine and other electronic equipment.
During his visit, the DIG interacted with citizens present at the station and inquired about their issues. He provided directives to the officers concerning the timely resolution of citizen applications as per legal provisions.
Faisal emphasized the need to prioritize addressing citizens’ problems and ensure prompt relief. He also instructed officials to maintain basic facilities for suspects held in custody.
Additionally, he ordered that CCTV cameras, tablets, and other equipment at police stations remain operational at all times. He recorded his observations in the visitors’ book of the police station.
