DIG Security Reviews Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Security at Jinnah Convention Centre
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 26, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Security Islamabad, Rana Umar Farooq on Wednesday visited the Jinnah Convention Centre and reviewed security arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him).
An official stated that during the visit, DIG Umar inspected various duty points and assessed the deployment and security measures around the venue. (As previously mentioned, he emphasized the need to strengthen security at all duty points and ensure effective implementation of the security plan.)
DIG Umar instructed police personnel on duty to maintain alertness and perform their responsibilities with vigilance and professionalism. He underscored the importance of close monitoring around the Convention Centre, ensuring no lapses in security during the sacred occasion.
He reassured that Islamabad Police remained committed to upholding a peaceful and secure environment for citizens during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
