District Admin Conducts Operation Against Water Theft and Illegal Outlets in DIKhan

On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ismail Khan, a joint operation was successfully executed against water theft and illegal water outlets (mogas) on Distributary No. 12 within the district.
Operation Details:
The operation was led by the Additional Assistant Commissioner Paroa, accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Irrigation and officials from the Irrigation and Revenue departments. During the operation:
- All illegally constructed mogas were demolished and removed from the site.
- Illegal obstructions blocking the canal fall structure were dismantled, restoring the natural flow of irrigation water.
- Irrigation and Revenue patwaris assisted in identifying farmers accused of water theft.
- Legal proceedings have been initiated against those found responsible, in accordance with the law.

The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to:
- Safeguarding farmers’ fair share of irrigation water.
