District Election Commissioner Complex Gwadar Inaugurated With Cost Of Rs 235 Million

Member Election Commission Balochistan Shah Muhammad Jatoi on Tuesday stated that the District Election Commissioner Complex in Gwadar, costing Rs 235 million, is a modern and aesthetically pleasing structure, reflecting the excellence of the Election Commission’s facilities in Balochistan. According to him, this complex will enable citizens to access electoral services and related amenities in an improved and organized environment.
Jatoi expressed these views during the inauguration ceremony for the District Election Commissioner Complex Gwadar, attended by Election Commissioner Balochistan Ali Asghar Sial, Regional Election Commissioner Makran at Turbat Muhammad Baloch, along with administrative and police officials, representatives of civil society, and regional elders.
He emphasized the significance of a robust institutional framework and advanced public facilities for conducting transparent, free, and fair elections. He further revealed that the Election Commission of Balochistan is enhancing the capacity and infrastructure of electoral institutions by constructing modern complexes in various districts to ensure effective, structured, and citizen-friendly delivery of electoral services.
The complex in Gwadar, Jatoi noted, represents a pivotal step in this initiative, offering a contemporary setting for managing electoral affairs, maintaining records, and providing citizens with essential electoral facilities.
Sub-Divisional Officer of the Communications and Works Department Junbad Kashani, in his briefing at the ceremony, revealed that the one-acre complex was constructed under the Federal PSDP 2023 at a cost of Rs 235 million. The project, completed within the stipulated timeframe in 2026, marks a significant achievement.
