District Peace Committee Members Awarded
Sargodha police organized a ceremony for district peace committee members and scholars who maintained an excellent atmosphere of peace and order during Muharram.
The event recognized the crucial role played by these individuals, presenting them with ‘Peace Awards’ and shields. DPO Sargodha Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem highlighted the peace committee’s dedication to bringing different schools of thought together and thwarting miscreants’ malicious intentions. He emphasized that fostering peace and brotherhood was a collective responsibility.
During the ceremony, peace committee members expressed their gratitude for the police’s strategic approach, meticulous security arrangements, and swift responses, reiterating their commitment to promoting tolerance, love, and brotherhood in the city.
