DPM Dar Chairs Meeting To Advance Trade, Export Agenda

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired an inter-ministerial meeting Thursday to advance Pakistan’s trade and export promotion agenda.

He emphasized:

  • Strengthening trade facilitation
  • Enhancing the quality and competitiveness of Pakistani products
  • Expanding market access
  • Diversifying exports, including through greater utilization of GSP+ opportunities in the European Union.

Dar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a coordinated, whole-of-government approach to promoting exports and strengthening economic ties, with sustained engagement with international partners.

Federal ministries and provinces were directed to maintain momentum on key measures to support exports and enhance Pakistan’s trade potential.

The meeting was attended by:
