DPM/FM Dar Emphasises JMC Significance in Enhancing Pak-Bahrain Cooperation
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - October 3, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in further expanding Pakistan-Bahrain cooperation.
He chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to review preparations for the third session of the Pakistan-Bahrain JMC, which he will co-chair with his Bahraini counterpart. Dar directed the concerned ministries to finalise preparations and pursue concrete outcomes from the Bahraini Foreign Minister's visit next week, according to a press release by the Foreign Office Spokesperson.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, acting foreign secretary, and secretaries and senior officials from all concerned ministries and departments. The Secretary, Economic Affairs Division, briefed Dar on the agenda and key areas of bilateral cooperation for the forthcoming session.
