DPO Charsadda Pays Surprise Visit to Police Facilitation Center
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Aug, 2026) District police officer Charsadda (DPO) Rifatullah Khan made a surprise visit to the police facilitation center on Saturday. During his visit, he conducted a detailed review of complaints lodged by citizens at the complaint cell and the subsequent police action.
He personally reached out to several citizens to gather direct feedback about the police response to their complaints, ensuring that issues were resolved promptly and fairly. He met with complainants, actively listened to their concerns, and instructed relevant officers to address these issues immediately and based on merit alone.
"The primary purpose of this center," he emphasized, "is to offer citizens swift relief and easy access to police services." He made it clear that no citizen should face unnecessary delays or multiple visits to resolve a legitimate complaint.
The DPO's inspection revealed instances of negligence and failure to meet performance standards. Consequently, he issued orders to close the center’s muharrir due to these shortcomings. He reminded officers and personnel that every complainant deserves respect, every complaint is important, and timely resolution is their responsibility. He stressed that disciplinary action would be taken against anyone found negligent in handling public complaints.
