DPO Directs Traffic Police to Remain Vigilant, Adopt Citizen-friendly Approach:
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) District Police Officer Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem on Thursday directed traffic police officers and personnel to remain highly vigilant while performing their duties, demonstrate responsibility, and adopt a courteous, citizen-friendly attitude.
He issued these directions during a meeting with traffic police officers and personnel here.
The DPO noted that traffic duty was a sensitive, challenging, and public-oriented responsibility, adding that traffic police had direct interaction with citizens more than any other police department. He stated that citizens’ perceptions of the police were based on the conduct and efficiency of personnel while performing traffic duties.
Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem emphasized that police personnel should respect their department’s entrusted honor, authority, and responsibility, performing their duties with patience, tolerance, and courage. He advised against any actions that could reflect negatively on the police department.
He made it clear that a zero-tolerance policy would be implemented against corruption, misbehavior, or negligence, warning of strict departmental action against officials found guilty following complaints.
