UAE, reflecting coordinated national and local initiatives to support the implementation of environment and sustainability strategies.
In an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), she highlighted that the conference comes at a critical time when the world faces mounting environmental challenges, such as wildfires, melting ice, and other disasters. These challenges underscore the urgency of protecting ecosystems, conserving natural resources, and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
Al Dahak noted that the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment is collaborating with the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority and local entities to translate national strategies into actionable programs and initiatives. These efforts aim to strengthen partnerships between governments and the private sector, empowering community engagement in environmental action.

- Efforts to protect biodiversity and fulfill commitments under agreements like the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
Al Dahak revealed that the UAE‘s technological solutions in this domain have garnered international interest, with several countries seeking expertise and knowledge-sharing. Through its participation in global agreements, the UAE shares its experience and technological innovations, contributing to environmental sustainability worldwide.
