Dubai Hosts Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026

DUBAI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 22nd Aug, 2026) Esha Oza will lead a 15-member UAE squad at the Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026, kicking off on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium. The tournament concludes on September 13, marking UAE‘s first time hosting the continental event.
All matches will be played under lights starting at 6:30 PM local time. The semi-finals are slated for September 10 and 11, with the final on September 13.
UAE, along with Thailand, qualified for the main event through the 2026 Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Premier Women’s Cup held in Malaysia in June.
The hosts are placed in Group B alongside previous winners Bangladesh, Indonesia, and defending champions Sri Lanka. UAE will face Sri Lanka on August 29, Indonesia on September 4, and Bangladesh on September 8.
This is the first time UAE will host the continental tournament.
