Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrated With Religious Enthusiasm In Balochistan

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH) was celebrated with religious devotion and enthusiasm across Balochistan, including the provincial capital Quetta, on Wednesday. Special events, Milad gatherings, Naat recitation, Durood-u-Salam, and processions were organized in various districts.

Security Measures

Strict security arrangements were made in Quetta city for the celebration. Police, Frontier Corps (FC), and other law enforcement agencies ensured security on important highways, sensitive places, mosques, and procession routes, with special measures to monitor the processions.

Processions and Gatherings in Quetta

Large processions and rallies were taken out from different areas of Quetta, including Sariab Road and Qambrani Road, reaching central Meezan Chowk where the main gathering was held.

Sariab Road Rally

Sahibzada Pir Muhammad Khalid Sultan-ul-Qadri addressed a large rally from Sariab Road, emphasizing that the life and character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) serve as a guiding light for humanity. He highlighted the Prophet’s teachings on love, brotherhood, tolerance, justice, and service to humanity, calling for their adaptation to promote peace and unity in society. He also offered prayers for the country’s development, stability, peace, and security.

Qambrani Road Rally

A significant rally was also held from Qambrani Road, led by scholars and religious figures. Participants recited Naat-e-Rasool and listened to lectures on the Seerat-un-Nabi (the life and teachings of the Prophet) and Uswa Hasana (the excellent character of the Prophet).

Allama Maulana Ahmed Raza Qambrani, addressing the Qambrani Road rally, noted that the arrival of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a profound blessing for humanity. He emphasized the importance of Muslims embracing the Seerat-un-Nabi in their daily lives.

Main Gathering

In the main gathering, scholars and preachers provided detailed insights into the blessed life, exemplary character, teachings, and services of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for the Muslim Ummah. They stressed the significance of following the Prophet’s example to address societal challenges.
