Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrated With Religious Fervor
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated across Bahawalpur district on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal with great devotion and reverence. A total of 73 processions were taken out from different parts of the district, according to the district administration.
Processions and Events:
The processions included:
- Two A-category
- Eight B-category
- 36 C-category
Various events were organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), including:
- Special Milad gatherings
- Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conferences
- Other cultural programs
Notable Participants:
Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly, Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar, participated in the central Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) procession organized by the Central Milad Mustafa Committee. The procession started from Shikarpuri Gate and passed through several important locations before culminating at Milad Chowk.
Another notable procession originated from Serani Mosque, led by Allama Fayyaz Ahmed Owaisi and Allama Riaz Ahmed Owaisi.
Religious Scholars’ Messages:
Religious scholars highlighted the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), emphasizing the importance of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal as a day to renew one’s commitment to following his noble example. They encouraged home Milad gatherings and familiarizing families with Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
Security Arrangements:
The district administration and police ensured comprehensive security for the celebrations. Security sweeps were conducted along procession routes, and additional personnel were deployed at sensitive locations. The administration coordinated closely with procession organizers to ensure a peaceful event.
