Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) cake-cutting ceremony held at Iqbal Stadium
FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) A spirit of devotion, reverence, and love for the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) marked an Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) cake-cutting ceremony held at Iqbal Stadium. Participants called for promoting the Prophet’s teachings of compassion, tolerance, brotherhood, and peace among the young generation.
Caretaker Iqbal Stadium Naveed Nazir was the chief guest at the ceremony, while Chairman Syed Tanveer Hussain Zaidi, President Muhammad Ahmad, General Secretary Qasoor Munir Sheikh, and other distinguished members participated.

Naveed Nazir appreciated the organization of the event, emphasizing the importance of these spiritual gatherings in familiarizing the youth with Seerat-e-Tayyaba, the Prophet’s love, and Islamic values. He also commended the Punjab government’s initiatives for promoting programs commemorating the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Chairman Syed Tanveer Hussain Zaidi stated that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) served as a model for all humanity. He asserted that adhering to the Prophet’s teachings and noble character could foster love, tolerance, brotherhood, and peace within society.
Speakers emphasized the significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) as an opportunity to reflect upon the Prophet’s exemplary life and translate his teachings into actions, particularly among young people.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for Pakistan’s security, prosperity, and progress, as well as for the unity, dignity, and success of the Muslim Ummah.
