Eid Milad-un-Nabi Observed With Religious Fervour In Karachi

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was being observed with religious fervour in Karachi on Wednesday, with processions, rallies and other programmes held across the metropolis to mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Law enforcement agencies have made strict security arrangements for the protection of participants attending the processions, rallies and other gatherings. More than 4,208 police officers and personnel were deployed for the security of processions and Milad gatherings.

Mosques, streets and important public and private buildings have been decorated with colourful lights, adding to the festive atmosphere across the city.

Small and large processions and rallies were taken out from different areas, with several scheduled to join the main procession at Numaish Chowrangi.

The authorities have also made arrangements to facilitate the participants and maintain law and order and smooth traffic flow during the celebrations.
