Energy Department KP Holds E-open Katcheri
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Oct, 2026) Energy and Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized an e-open kachehri today to promote transparency in government institutions' administrative affairs and promptly resolve public issues.
The open court was chaired by Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmed and attended by all officers of the department, along with heads and project directors of its subsidiaries: PEDO, KP Oil and Gas Company, Electric Inspectorate, and KP Transmission and Grid System Company.
A total of 52 complainants from various districts of the province, related to energy projects, were discussed via telephone calls and the department's official Facebook page.
Secretary Energy expressed optimism that the open courts would bridge the gap between the public and institutions, aiding in the swift resolution of common issues. He sternly cautioned all department officers to take public issues presented seriously and address them immediately.
