Euro Area Annual Inflation Reaches 3.3% in August
Euro area annual inflation is expected to have risen to 3.3% in August 2026, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat. This represents an increase from the previous month’s figure of 2.9%.

- Energy: 14.3%, up from 10.3% in July
- Services: 3.0%, down slightly from 3.3% in July
- Non-energy industrial goods: 1.2%, up from 0.9% in July
- Food, alcohol & tobacco: 1.2%, unchanged from July
