Exhibitors participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) are offering a 35% discount on their books and publications throughout the 35th edition, taking place at ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi, from 13th to 18th September 2026.
This announcement was made during a meeting attended by:
- Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) and Director of the Fair
- Mohamed Rashad, President of the Arab Publishers’ Association
- Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of the Emirates Publishers Association
The ALC, the organizer of the Fair, launched this discount as part of its commitment to:
- Make books more accessible in daily life
- Broaden access to knowledge
- Support a culture of reading and book acquisition.
The discount will be applied directly through the authorized ADIBF digital payment system, allowing visitors to benefit from it throughout the event.
Al Tunaiji emphasized that this initiative reflects the broader strategy behind the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which goes beyond bringing together publishers, writers, and readers. The Fair aims to:
- Strengthen readers’ connection with books
- Support the publishing industry
- Make culture and knowledge content accessible to a wider audience.
This year’s edition welcomes exhibitors from 95 countries, including seven participating for the first time. The discount holds added significance as it coincides with an exceptional edition held under the theme ‘Let’s Turn the Page and Read the World’, celebrating three and a half decades of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair’s presence in the global cultural sector.
The 35th edition offers visitors a broader opportunity to select books that match their interests, transforming the celebration into a real-life experience focused on the book itself – the heart of the Fair and its most prominent vessel for knowledge and cultural dialogue.
