Explosion Near Tarnab Checkpoint Injuries Seven: Police
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 26, 2026) | At least seven people were injured in an explosion involving explosive material near the Tarnab Farm checkpoint on Wednesday evening.
According to police, unknown outlaws threw explosive material near the Tarnab Farm checkpoint of Chamkani Police Station, resulting in injuries to seven people, including two policemen who were on duty.
According to Rescue 1122, emergency teams and ambulances were immediately dispatched to the scene following the report, on the instructions of Peshawar District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, Iftikhar Khan.
Initial reports indicate that the injured were given first aid at the scene and then shifted to a hospital for further medical treatment. Five Rescue 1122 ambulances and two fire vehicles are currently present at the scene and are prepared to respond to any further emergency. District Emergency Officer Iftikhar Khan was also present at the scene and was personally supervising the rescue operation.
