Falak Javed’s Physical Remand Extended By 14 Days in Jinnah House Attack Case

ATC Judge Sardar Muhammad Akram Khan made the order after police produced Ms. Javed before the court upon the completion of her five-day physical remand. Police had requested an extension of 30 days, arguing that more time was required to complete the investigation.

The prosecutor stated that the case alleged PTI leaders incited party workers to engage in arson and vandalism. He emphasized that the Jinnah House attack was part of a conspiracy and that the First Information Report (FIR) included charges related to sedition and other serious offenses.
Defense Argument
Advocate Azhar Suhailriya, representing Ms. Javed, argued that his client had been arrested based on the statement of another accused and denied any involvement in the attack on Jinnah House. He further submitted that as a woman, Ms. Javed should be discharged from the case.

After considering arguments from both sides, the court granted an additional 14-day physical remand and returned the accused to police custody.
