FBISE Announces HSSC 2026 Results

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the 2026 annual examination results for grades 11 and 12, recording a pass percentage of 65.31 per cent in the first year and 85.95 per cent in the second year. Top positions were secured by students from institutions in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Karachi, and Lahore.

According to the results announced by the Federal Board, students from medical, pre-engineering, science general, commerce, and humanities groups secured leading positions in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations.

• Medical Group:

  • Amara Azhar, Army Public School and College Girls, 208 Humayun Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment (1,079 marks)
  • Muhammad Jahanzeb, Punjab College of Science, Blue Area, Islamabad (1,078 marks)
  • Syeda Iman Fatima, Army Public School and College, Gujranwala Cantonment (1,076 marks)

• Pre-Engineering Group:

  • Rameen Arjumand, Army Public School and College Girls, Pasban, Rawalpindi (1,075 marks)
  • Zainab Sami, Army Public School and College, Gujranwala Cantonment (1,076 marks)
  • Ansa Fatima, Copes College, Wah Cantt Campus, GT Road, Wah Cantt (1,068 marks)

• Science General Group:

  • Abdullah Azhar, Punjab College of Science, Blue Area, Islamabad (1,063 marks)
  • Hayan Azhar, Defence Forces Public School and College, Rawalpindi Cantonment (1,059 marks)
  • Hadiya Zakria, Punjab College Group of Colleges, Hill Campus, H-11/4, Islamabad (1,056 marks)

• Commerce Group:

  • Aqsa Farooq, HCCS Educational System Girls Campus, Dhoke Mustaqeem Road, Rawalpindi (1,051 marks)
  • Aiza Afzal, HCCS Educational System Girls Campus (1,047 marks)
  • Amna Asif, Punjab College, Jinnah Campus, Islamabad (1,046 marks)

• Humanities Group:

  • Iman Fatima, Army Public Degree College, Malir Cantonment, Karachi (1,007 marks)
  • Amna Azhar, Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-6/2, Islamabad (1,003 marks)
  • Raja Yahya bin Fazil, IMCB H-9, Islamabad, and Umair Raza, F.G. Degree College, Aziz Bhatti Road, Lahore Cantonment (1,002 marks each)

FBISE Chairman, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, briefed Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, on the board’s examination system and congratulated the position holders on their achievements.

Dr. Siddiqui congratulated the successful students and highlighted the importance of acquiring skills in addition to formal education, emphasizing that talented Pakistani youth had earned global recognition.
