FDA Provides Relief To 779 Applicants
FDA (Faisalabad Development Authority) has provided relief to 779 applicants through its One Window Counter. As of now, 40 applications are under process across various departments.
This information was shared during a meeting led by Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, where the performance of FDA departments, application progress, and pending matters were discussed.
Attending the meeting were Additional Director General Qaiser Abas Rind, Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, and other officers.
The meeting revealed the following figures:
- 596 applicants received relief from January to August 2026 via State Management-I.
- 49 applications were processed by Town Planning-I.
- 88 applications were handled by Town Planning-II.
- 46 applicants benefited from the Katchi Abadies Department.
The applications covered various matters, including:
- Building plan approvals
- Property transfers
- Inheritance transfers
- Property commercialization
- Court decree implementation
- Ownership certificate issuance
- Town planning reports
- Private housing scheme-related issues
Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary expressed satisfaction with the One Window Counter’s performance, emphasizing the institution’s responsibility to resolve citizen issues in one location. He directed officers to process all applications fairly, transparently, and within the stipulated timeframe, with no unnecessary delays.
Chaudhary highlighted the Punjab government’s policy of good governance and transparency, aiming to provide immediate relief to citizens. He promised to streamline FDA administrative affairs and implement modern reforms, ensuring visible improvements for citizens.
He instructed officers to monitor the One Window Counter’s performance, maintain application records, and keep citizens informed about their application statuses. He also emphasized removing any technical or administrative obstacles promptly.
Chaudhary vowed to transform FDA into a modern, transparent, and citizen-friendly institution, adding that legitimate public grievances would be addressed without negligence or unnecessary delays.
