Federal Constitutional Court Fixes Sept 14 Hearing On Plea Against IHC Verdict On Prisoners’ Medical Facilities
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Sep, 2026) The Federal Constitutional Court has fixed for September 14 the hearing of an appeal challenging an Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision concerning provision of medical facilities to prisoners similar to those being provided to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan will hear the case. Justice Asmer Farooq and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi are also part of the bench.
The case relating to provision of medical facilities to the PTI founder is separately scheduled to be heard by the Supreme Court on September 16.
This development comes a day after three prisoners of Adiala Jail approached the Federal Constitutional Court seeking medical facilities on the same pattern as those being provided to Imran Khan.
