Federal Ombudsman Hears 70 Public Complaints
In-charge Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Gujranwala, Mushtaq Ahmad Awan, presided over a public hearing session in Sialkot Fort on Wednesday. According to the Federal Ombudsman's office, approximately 70 complaints were addressed, targeting various federal departments.
The majority of grievances were linked to GEPCO, Sui Gas, Pakistan Post, NCCIA, FIA, State Life Insurance, Postal Life Insurance, NADRA, Passport Office, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, ptcl, and EOBI. Of the total complaints, 50 were resolved on the spot, offering immediate relief to aggrieved parties, while 20 cases were adjourned for a subsequent date. The hearing also received new complaints against federal departments.
The complainants expressed gratitude for the Federal Ombudsman's initiative, highlighting how these hearings in diverse cities empower individuals to voice their grievances without the hassle of traveling long distances to distant offices.
