FGP and RLKU Join Forces to Empower Youth and Advance Research
Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP) and Rashid Latif Khan University (RLKU), Lahore, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower young people and women through education, research, skills development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.
Muhammad Anwar, Chief Executive Officer of FGP, and Prof. Dr. Saeed-ul-Hassan Chishti, Pro Vice Chancellor of RLKU, sealed the agreement. Present were Dr. Shahbaz Tariq, Head of Economy and Research at FGP; Dr. Ayaz Qaiser, Registrar of RLKU; Capt. M. Faisal Khalid, Chief Human Resources Officer of RLKU; and Dr. Ansar Abbas, Associate Dean of Faculty of Management Sciences, Hamdard University.
A Framework for Collaboration
The MoU establishes a framework for joint academic, research, and community-based initiatives aimed at:
- Strengthening cooperation between academia and development sectors.
- Fostering skills development, entrepreneurship, research, and civic engagement among young people and women.
- Addressing contemporary development challenges such as climate change, environmental sustainability, healthcare, gender equality, and digital empowerment.

Prof. Dr. Saeed-ul-Hassan Chishti underscored the significance of connecting university education with practical experience and contemporary development challenges.
