ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026)
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone has advised dual nationals and overseas Pakistanis travelling to Pakistan to ensure they carry valid travel documents and meet all applicable immigration requirements before starting their journey.
An FIA official told APP on Friday that dual nationals travelling to Pakistan should carry a valid Pakistani passport, National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), or Pakistan e-Visa where applicable.
The FIA clarified that Pakistani nationals working abroad could return to Pakistan even if their CNIC had expired, provided they possessed other required travel documents in accordance with applicable regulations.
It advised passengers to verify relevant travel and immigration requirements before boarding their flights and ensure that their documents were up to date and acceptable for travel.
"Travel informed, travel prepared," the FIA said, advising passengers to complete necessary document checks before beginning their journey to avoid inconvenience.
