Field Teams Ordered To Step Up Dengue Larva Destruction In Murree
MURREE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi chaired a review meeting of the District Emergency Response Committee (DERC) to evaluate anti-dengue field operations and hospital treatment facilities across Murree district.
Attended by the Chief Executive Officer Health, Medical Superintendent, and inter-departmental officers, the meeting reviewed vector surveillance data, larval elimination efforts and clinical readiness across local healthcare facilities.
The deputy commissioner directed health officials teams to intensify field operations, strictly enforce anti-dengue protocols and expand public awareness campaigns to control vector breeding through community participation.
