Finance Minister Addresses Inauguration Of Saifee Hospital Cardiac Wing, Underscores Investment In Healthcare
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, on Saturday highlighted the important role of private institutions in expanding quality healthcare access and reducing pressure on the public healthcare system. He attended the inauguration of the Cardiac Wing of Saifee Hospital along with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
The Finance Minister appreciated the new cardiac facility, describing it as an essential step towards ensuring timely, world-class cardiac care close to home. He praised the state-of-the-art catheterization labs and advanced diagnostic and interventional capacity of the facility, noting that it reflects the standard of care that Karachi deserves.
Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized that a hospital is more than just its buildings and equipment; ultimately, the expertise, dedication, and compassion of medical professionals determine the difference a facility makes. He appreciated the community’s efforts and all contributors to bringing this initiative to fruition.
He highlighted partnerships combining community initiatives and world-class medical expertise as an important model for Pakistan’s healthcare sector. The Senator also acknowledged the longstanding tradition of community service within the Bohra community, praising its significant role in social welfare and public service initiatives across Pakistan.
