Fire Breaks Out at F-8 Sector, 12 Rescued
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 01, 2026) A fire erupted at Babar Plaza in Islamabad’s F-8 area on Tuesday, prompting a rescue operation to evacuate people trapped inside the building.
According to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), rescue teams have successfully evacuated 12 individuals from the plaza thus far. The CDA reported that no casualties were recorded in the incident, and efforts continued to rescue any remaining individuals trapped inside the structure.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, the CDA added.
