Fire Safety Drill Held at THQ Hospital Sambrial

Sialkot, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026) A fire and evacuation mock exercise was conducted at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Sambrial to enhance preparedness for emergencies and ensure the safety of patients and hospital staff.

According to an AC office spokesperson, the drill was supervised by Assistant Commissioner Sambrial Adnan Bashir Waraich and Rescue 1122 Station In-charge Muhammad Asim. During the exercise, Rescue 1122 personnel provided practical training to hospital staff on:

  • Fire safety measures
  • Proper use of fire extinguishers
  • Evacuation procedures for patients, staff, and others

The aim was to improve emergency response skills and minimize potential losses during any unforeseen incident.
