Fire Safety Training Workshop Held At Hindu Panchayat Hospital

On 08 September, 2026, a special training workshop on Fire Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) was organized by the Civil Defence Warden Service Sukkur at the Hindu Panchayat Hospital. This event was held under the directives of Director Civil Defence Sindh, Riaz Hussain Laghari, and Deputy Commissioner Nadir Shehzad Khan to commemorate Defence Day of Pakistan.
Assistant Commissioner Dr. Khansa Malik served as the chief guest. She emphasized the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in nation-building and highlighted the importance of national unity, stability, and defending the homeland on Defence Day. She assured strict adherence to fire safety SOPs and acknowledged the collaboration between the district administration and Civil Defence for effective implementation.
Dr. Saeed Awan, Deputy Chief Warden of Civil Defence Sukkur, delivered a comprehensive lecture on fire safety measures, including:
- Fire prevention strategies
- Immediate precautionary actions during a fire
- Safe evacuation procedures in emergencies
- Correct use of fire extinguishers
Admin Officer of Hindu Panchayat Hospital, Manzoor Ahmed Bhatti and Sari Chand, expressed appreciation for the training, noting its importance in ensuring a safe environment alongside healthcare services.
Participants actively engaged with the practical procedures discussed during the workshop. A hands-on demonstration on using fire extinguishers capped off the event.

- Mahmood Ahmed, Post Warden
- Muhammad Asif Sheikh and Ali Raza, Incharge Officers, along with personnel from the Civil Defence Warden Service and staff of Hindu Panchayat Hospital.
