First Lady Expresses Concern Over Brutal Murder Of Hina Javed

First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, MNA, expressed deep concern and sorrow over the reported brutal murder of Hina Javed in Rawalpindi on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She offered her solidarity and condolences to the grieving family.

According to a press release from the President Secretariat Media Wing, the First Lady "called upon the Government of Punjab to ensure a thorough inquiry and proper investigation into the heinous crime." She added that those responsible should be brought to justice to set an example and prevent similar acts in the future.

The first lady also voiced her concern over the rise in such incidents in Pakistan and expressed hope for effective measures to protect women and prevent such crimes.
