Five Excise Officials Injured in Swat Expressway Accident
UrduPoint (September 16, 2026) - Five officials from the Excise Department were seriously injured in a vehicle accident near the Babozai Interchange on the Swat Expressway on Wednesday. According to a spokesperson for Rescue 1122 in Mardan, ambulances and medical teams responded promptly after receiving a call. The team provided initial aid and transported the injured to a hospital.
Two of the injured were said to be in critical condition. The officials were identified as:

- Salman (28), Mardan
- Fawad (33), Katlang, Mardan
- Waheed (28), Charsadda
- Bilal Ahmad (26), Mansehra
