Flour Availability Being Closely Monitored Across Punjab

The supply of flour is continuing normally across the province, with no shortage reported in the market.
Punjab Food Safety and Consumer Protection Department Statement
A spokesperson for the Punjab food Safety and Consumer Protection Department stated that the department is ensuring an uninterrupted supply of flour produced from government wheat across Punjab. They reported that:
- Flour mills across the province are grinding government wheat and supplying 10kg flour bags at Rs 1,100 each.
- 222,737 bags of 10kg flour and 342,469 bags of 20kg flour have been supplied across Punjab.
- An additional 131,956 bags of 20kg flour have also been supplied.
- This includes a total of 829,118 bags of 10kg flour.
The spokesperson emphasized that the Punjab government is taking all possible measures to ensure the uninterrupted supply of quality flour to the public. They added that the availability and prices of flour are being continuously monitored to ensure citizens can easily purchase quality flour at the prescribed price.
The process of flour supply is being closely monitored across the province, with daily reviews of the performance of flour mills and the availability of flour in markets. The Punjab Food Safety and Consumer Protection Department will continue its efforts to ensure an adequate and uninterrupted supply of flour throughout the province.
