ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) – The Federal Ombudsman for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) officially launched its Complaint Management System (CMS), mobile application, and new website at a ceremony in Islamabad. This digital transformation is a significant step towards improving access to justice.
Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, served as the chief guest. Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and National Information Technology Board (NITB) CEO, Faisal Iqbal Ratyal, played crucial roles in this digitalization initiative.
Federal Ombudsman Fozia Waqar explained that the new system allows complainants to:
- Create accounts using CNIC, email, and mobile numbers.
- File and track multiple complaints from a single account.
- Access notices, updates, and documents online, reducing office visits and postal services reliance.
- Minimize false complaints through verified registration.
Fozia Waqar further stated that the CMS will enhance case monitoring, reduce paperwork (by 70-80%), and aim for a fully paperless institution in the future. The new website will provide easy access to laws, procedures, decisions, and statistics.
She also announced plans to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics in the next phase to assist with application preparation and decision databases.
Fozia Waqar expressed gratitude to NITB, FOSPAH’s IT team, and all contributors for making this project possible.
Federal Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar commended FOSPAH’s efforts in establishing this digital platform, calling it a step towards modernizing public service delivery. He presented appreciation certificates to the NITB team and received a commemorative shield and FOSPAH’s annual report from Fozia Waqar.
FOSPAH reaffirms its commitment to making workplace harassment support more accessible and efficient through this digitally enabled system.
