Funeral Prayers Offered For Martyred Police Constable

KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – Funeral prayers for police constable Owais Tanoli, who embraced martyrdom while on duty in Korangi district, were offered at the Police Headquarters Garden here on Monday.

- And a large number of the martyr’s family members and relatives.
The Incident
Constable Owais Tanoli was critically injured in an encounter with criminal elements on Saturday and shifted to a hospital for immediate medical treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
IGP’s Tribute
IGP Javed Alam Odho paid tribute to the constable’s bravery and devotion to duty, expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He stated that Constable Owais Tanoli had upheld the Sindh Police’s proud tradition by sacrificing his life in the line of duty.
He further emphasized:
“Sindh Police never forgets the sacrifices of its martyrs. The families of martyrs are our responsibility and an integral part of the Sindh Police family.”
Commitment to Duty
The IGP confirmed that all possible measures would continue to be taken to maintain law and order, as Sindh Police personnel perform their duties with courage and determination against criminal elements.
