Fury wants 'old pal' President Trump for Joshua ring walk

Fury vs Joshua: Tyson Fury's Trump Ring Walk Request

BBC Sport reports that Tyson Fury plans to ask US President Donald Trump to lead his ring walk before fighting Anthony Joshua on 11 December at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

Fury and Joshua are set to square off in a highly anticipated all-British bout. Trump and Fury previously met at the White House in June, where Fury wore a cap with the slogan "Donald Trump for Prime Minister" after his US travel ban was lifted.

"I'll definitely make that offer to my old buddy, old pal, and we'll see if he's available," said Fury. "Probably unlikely because of the situation he's in at the moment, being the President of the United States."

Fury also stated that he views the Joshua fight as preparation for a potential third meeting with Oleksandr Usyk, who twice defeated Fury in 2024. Fury expressed no intention of retiring and plans to be extremely active in 2026, including potential fights against Arslanbek Makhmudov and Marius Wach.
