Kinsella, an Olympic bronze medalist and three-time Commonwealth champion, became the first British artistic gymnast to return to elite competition post-pregnancy when she placed fourth on the beam at the British Championships in March.
Preparing for a Senior Team International
Now, the 25-year-old is gearing up for her first competition back in Great Britain colors at a senior team international against France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy at Fenton Manor in Stoke on September 12-13.

A Unique Journey
Kinsella’s comeback is so rare that it inspired a university research paper exploring elite gymnasts’ return to competition after childbirth. Her son, Parker, born in September 2025, is a constant source of motivation.
A Team Return
The upcoming competition will be a significant milestone as Kinsella competes in all four apparatuses—balance beam, bars, vault, and floor—for the first time since her comeback.
