GCGC Gulbahar to Host Basketball Tournament Final

The final match of the Peshawar Inter-District Club Independence Day basketball tournament will be played on Friday between Friends Club and Brothers Club at the ground of Government City Girls College (GCGC) Gulbahar, Peshawar.
According to Najma Naz Qazi, Director Sports, GCGC, eight basketball clubs from different areas of Peshawar participated in the tournament. These included Friends Club, Brothers Club, Awan Club, Frontier Tigers Club, Nahaki Club, Qazi Club, Chamkani Club, and Gulbahar Club.
During the tournament, teams displayed great enthusiasm, impressive performances, and excellent sporting skills. Players demonstrated a commendable spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy competition throughout the matches.
Professor Rabia Sikandar, Principal of GCGC, will be the chief guest at the final match. Prizes and trophies will be distributed among the successful teams and players.
The Basketball Tournament aimed to promote sports among young people and provided them with a platform to showcase their talent and pursue sporting opportunities.
The Director Sports GCGC informed that an All-Grand Basketball Tournament will also be organized at the college on Defence Day, in collaboration with the KP Basketball Association.
