GCWUF and NTUF Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Strengthen Collaboration

Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) and National Textile University Faisalabad (NTUF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening academic, research, innovation, and institutional collaboration between the two leading universities.
Key Areas of Collaboration:
- Faculty and student exchange programs
- Mutual support for startups and entrepreneurship
- Joint degree and academic programs
- Advancing clothing and fashion design education
The MoU will facilitate access to qualified faculty members, specialized facilities, and other academic resources at both institutions.
Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Vice Chancellor of GCWUF, and Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood, Rector of NTUF, signed the agreement during a ceremony held at GCWUF on Wednesday.
Both Vice Chancellors described this partnership as an important step towards strengthening ties and creating academic and professional opportunities.

- GCWUF: Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen (Director External Linkages), Dr. Rizwana Batool (Additional Director External Linkages), Dr. Ayesha Hussain (Chairperson), Dr. Muhammad Ayyoub (Registrar), Dr. Imran Shakil (Director QEC), Mr. Muhammad Ansar (Treasurer), Dr. Amara Javed (Additional Director Press, Media & Publication), and Dr. Sadia Asim (Director ORIC).
- NTUF: Dr. Muhammad Qamar Khan (Chairman, Department of Clothing) and Sardar Pervaiz Akhtar (Public Relations Officer).
Under the MoU, both universities will collaborate on joint research, academic exchange, and professional development initiatives for students and faculty. They aim to create opportunities in clothing design, fashion, computer science, and related fields, promoting interdisciplinary learning and research while supporting entrepreneurial ventures.
