Gold Prices Edge Lower On Monday

Gold prices nudged lower on Monday. Spot gold was down 0.5 percent at $4,405.47 per ounce, as of 02:11 GMT, after falling 1 percent on Friday. US gold futures for December delivery were down 0.5 percent at $4,452.20.
Among other metals:
- Spot silver eased 0.2 percent at $66.03 per ounce.
- Platinum lost 0.8 percent at $1,805.53.
- Palladium declined 0.7 percent to $1,396.08.
