Government Announces Another Major Hike in Petroleum Prices

Petrol has been increased by Rs3.40 per litre and diesel by Rs6.72 per litre.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) OGRA has announced a major increase in petroleum product prices. According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.40 per litre, while diesel has been increased by Rs6.72 per litre.

The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs367.75 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs392.67 per litre. The new prices will take effect from midnight tonight.
