Grand Central Milad Procession in Nawabshah Celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)
NAWABSHAH, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) A grand central Milad procession was organized by Jamaat Ahl-e- Sunnat Nawabshah, marking the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The procession, led by Muhammad Aslam Noori Sultani, Muhammad Ashraf Sultani, and Syed Nizamuddin Shah, began at Jamia Mosque near Eid Gah.
A large number of devotees participated, expressing their deep love and reverence for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Recitations of Durood and Salam, performances of Naats, and moments of religious remembrance filled the event with devotion and enthusiasm.
Special guests at the procession included Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division Ghulam Qadir Khan Talpur, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Nizamani, and SSP Sameer Noor Channa. They visited various Sabeels (stalls) along the route, commended the organizers’ arrangements, and even served drinks to participants and citizens personally.
Across the city, religious organizations and citizens had set up Sabeels offering cold water, sharbat, and refreshments. The district administration, police, and health department ensured a peaceful and secure environment through comprehensive arrangements, including security measures and medical camps.
Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and SSP emphasized the universal message of love, peace, tolerance, and service to humanity taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They stressed the need to follow these teachings for societal harmony and brotherhood.
Participants offered special prayers for Pakistan’s security, prosperity, and stability, as well as for unity among the Muslim Ummah. The city was beautifully decorated with lights, green flags, and other adornments, reflecting the festive spirit of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
Other notable attendees included Additional Commissioner-II Syed Ammar Hussain, Deputy Mayor Chaudhry Mubashir Arain, District Health Officer Dr. Mudassar Hussain, District Manager PPHI Zakir Hussain Samo, Municipal Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Shaikh, along with members of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, Ahle Tashia communities, and a large number of citizens.
