Guarantee Sought That No Armed Persons Will Join Sept 27 Protest

Rana Sanaullah’s Call to PTI
Prime Minister’s Adviser Senator Rana Sanaullah has requested the PTI to:
- Guarantee that no armed persons will participate in the September 27 protest.
- Assure that they will not attack government property or the Red Zone.
- Explain the purpose of marching towards Islamabad.
He stated, "I say from the heart that Junaid Akbar is not a terrorist, even if 100 cases are registered against him."
PTI Leader’s Response
PTI leader Junaid Akbar responded on Sama News:
- He respects Rana Sanaullah as a political worker but questions the sincerity of his statement about armed groups.
- Accuses Rana Sanaullah of being linked to a drug mafia with a large network, echoing previous reports.
Junaid Akbar’s Guarantee
Junaid Akbar guaranteed the government that none of them would have weapons on September 27 and mentioned:
- He has been elected for the third time with 114,000 votes.
- Numerous terrorism FIRs exist against him and other leaders, including Imran Khan.
- Injustice was served on May 9, referring to an incident involving Imran Khan in court.
