Hamdan Bin Mohammed Visits Aster Pharmacy’s Distribution Centre in Dubai

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, paid a visit to Aster Pharmacy’s distribution centre in Dubai Industrial City.
Private Sector's Role in Healthcare
During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the private sector's crucial role in establishing and developing an efficient and reliable healthcare system. He highlighted the significance of collaboration between the private and public sectors in delivering high-quality services to meet the community's medication and medical supply needs.
Briefing on the Distribution Centre
Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, and Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, provided a briefing to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan about the 145,000 sq. ft. facility's operations and the services it offers across the UAE and GCC through Aster’s network.

Operations and Services
The facility processes approximately 75,000 transactions daily through Aster’s UAE network of 350 pharmacies, 120 medical clinics, and 15 hospitals.
