Health and Education Facilities Reviewed in Yarik
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) The Civil Dispensary and Government Higher Secondary School in Yarik were inspected to review the quality of public services and the availability of basic facilities.
During the visit to the civil dispensary, Assistant Commissioner Dr Muhammad Hamid Siddiq checked:
- Attendance of medical staff
- Availability of medicines and medical equipment
- Cleanliness
- Building condition
- Other essential facilities.
He also inquired about patient treatment and directed officials to ensure regular staff attendance, uninterrupted medicine supply, and timely healthcare service provision.
Later, he visited the Government Higher Secondary School, reviewing:
- Teachers’ attendance
- Student strength
- Educational resources
- Cleanliness
- Other facilities.
He took note of the absence of the school principal and instructed the relevant education officer to address the issue.
The assistant commissioner emphasized that providing basic healthcare and quality education in remote areas is a government priority. He promised regular monitoring of public health and educational institutions’ performance to ensure improved services and conducive environments for patients and students.
